James “Jim” Jares, age 70, of North Olmsted, passed away November 28, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Louise (nee:Chmielewski) for 48 years. Loving father of Scott (Tonimarie) (nee: Compola). Proud grandfather of Nicole and Nicholas Jares and dear brother in-law of Carol Wilmink. He will also be remembered by his former foreign exchange student Anibal Baca, from Peru.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Betty.
Family will receive friends from 9 to 10am Monday, December 2, at the CATAVOLOS-BERRY FUNERAL HOME 23040 Center Ridge Rd. Westlake. Mass of Christian burial will be held following visitation on Monday, 10:30am at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted, burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League 1729 Willey Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
