I met Jeff at Sinaloa Jr High in Simi Valley, CA and we were friends until his family moved to Ohio when we were in High School. He used to jog to my house a couple days each week when he was training for wrestling. We used to have great talks about life. He had always been very caring and encouraging to me then and again years later when would catch up with each other on Facebook 8 years ago. I will forever appreciate the amazing person, friend, and inspiration he was. In his life as a father and a friend to many. My condolences to his family. See you in the Sunset Jeff.

Like most "music parents", our connection was through our children's school events. Jeff Goltz was a rightfully proud father and his death is a loss that leaves a hole in our community. Prayers for all the girls. We share your sadness, but have high hopes for the legacy you will build on his foundation.

I was class of 81' but never knew Jeff in school. We became friends while watching our kids compete at Winterhurst over man years. Jeff was always interested in what my Hockey guys were up to, and was so proud of his skaters. He always had a smile on his face ans was just happy to be at the rink helping out the speed-skating program. What a great Dad and a great guy. I will miss him as I still have one left at the rink. My family will keep Jeff and his in our prayers and will remember him fondly whenever we walk by Rink I. Please except our most sincere condolences. The O'Sullivan Family
