

Jo Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late George Burrell Morris and Catherine Ethel Schneckenburger Morris. She was the beloved wife of the late James Dyson, Esq., who predeceased her in 1995, and the loving mother of the late Gregory Dyson, who passed away in 2019. She was also the dear sister of Ethel Morris Kovacic and the adored aunt of Leslie Hope Swanson.
Jo Ann lived life to the fullest. She was adventurous, independent, and resilient, with a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit. A pilot and a successful entrepreneur, Jo Ann approached life with determination, courage, and an eagerness to embrace new experiences. She was successful in all that she pursued and met life’s challenges with strength and grace.
Jo Ann will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her resilience, and the many lives she touched throughout her remarkable 91 years.
Services for Jo Ann will be private. She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River.
