How lucky are we to have known such love that saying goodbye is this hard? In a world that can at times feel cold and empty, she provided warmth and comfort. When facing fear and uncertainty, she provided stability and confidence. In times of need, she provided food and shelter. Joannie, Joannie Lee, mom, Chicky, Chick, grandma; for a woman with a lot of titles, she played each roll with all of her heart.

If you ask her husband to describe her, the answer will be short and simple: “the love of my life, my everything”

If you ask her 2 children, the answer would be: “my muse, my inspiration, my stability, my provider, my teacher, my advisor, my confidant, my hope, my strength.”

To her 5 grandchildren, she was safety, consistency, reliability, love, strength, guidance, and care.

Her mother and late father see her as pride, accomplishment, joy, their gift to the world, their world.

The older of 2 brothers and 2 sisters, she represented guidance, inspiration, a role model, a protector, a confidant, a friend.

She didn’t have just a daughter-in-law, she had a whole new addition to her family with aunts, uncles, and a grandma; both loved and welcomed.

She didn’t do friends or extended family. If you are a cousin, niece, nephew, or came into her life via one of her children or grandchildren, or through work, or through the neighborhood, you were family. If you were on her bowling team, you were family. You were wanted, you were welcomed, you were loved. Her heart didn’t do casual.

She impacted so many people that she made the world a much better place, and it is up to us to carry on spreading the love she gave us and keep her positive impact on the world going for generations to come.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with family and friends sharing memories at 7:00 pm.at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, OH 44145.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142. Please meet at gates.
