My heart goes out to all whose lives were touched by John.  He is a Cleveland rock and roll icon.  The Phantasy will always hold a place in my heart.  
My first time there was before I knew it as a club.  My sister had her wedding reception there way back in 1974.  The ship was still one piece back then.  
Then, all the work with all the bands.  I know it is still going strong, but I am from the '80s. Killers, Lucky Pierre, Wild Horses, THE BOLONEY HEADS, and so many more I can't even remember.  Not to mention things like the Rush party or all the shows in the theater.  
Good times - good memories - good bye John.

John was, and will always be remembered, as an admirable man for all his hard work and devotion to his family and those around him.  I always looked up to him and respected him immensely.  I'm sure he'll continue to work in spirit and watch over all of his angels here on earth.

I didn't know you well, John, but I love the woman you married and know you must have been a special person to make her happy all these years.  You created a wonderful family who will miss you always.

I have so many found memories of this fine man from my childhood. Working with Diane and Michelle at the Phantasy Night Club as he stood tall and proud in the doorway between the kitchen and the bar. Having the privilege of sharing many large Italian meal at their home as Mrs. DeFrasia hovered about making sure everyone was happy and full! He was so proud of his wife, girls and Johnny and I loved being around that strong sense of family and his protective nature! He was a man of a true family sense and you all honored him as that leader, which made him so proud!
That is how I will remember Mr. John DeFrasia and I am sure if I have these few memories the DeFrasia family have more then they can count of the same that will soothe the pain of their loss and provide stories for his grandchildren and many may generations to come! He was a legend!

For any of you that knew my father, knew he was a very proud man. Proud of his accomplishments, yes, but most of all proud of his family!
