Oh so many wonderful memories were made at the Little House. Thank you Uncle John. You rest in peace now. Im pretty sure theres a kegger in a hotpoint with your name on it and you can finally have a few. Say hi to my mom for me.

It is with great sadness to hear of John's passing...a great guy..a  Brookside classmate and lifelong true friend.  He was a well respected guy.....kind and compassionate.  Our sympathy to Pat and all family.   He will be missed by many.   We regret being so far away unable to attend....  God bless John...

John was a special man that we enjoyed for over 30 years. He frequently would walk over to our neighbors to visit with a best friend Al Barschow. The two would stop over and have a visit or look at a project that was under construction. Friendly advise usually followed as each man was extremely handy. John helped me install some of these. 
We will miss him walking the dog and his hellos. We will continue to remember him and his kindness.

There are just to many wonderful memories of a great friend like John Boy as my Husband Jim called him.
He will be up there with his many friends enjoying each other’s company and having a few.

My brother John is kind, generous, loved and respected by his family and many friends. He was helpful to many in his quiet ways.  We grew up in a loving childhood that leaves many good memories. John told me how proud he  was of his “kids “ and what they had accomplished. While talking to a iron worker and I mentioned John he said John was a Legend in the iron industry.  Their dog Lucy made him so happy and they took rides and walks and she liked to be with him all the time. John was taken good and loving  care of by his Bride of over 60yrs. and soon after breakfast he would be wondering what Pat had planned for supper. If everyone had a brother like John there would be no wars and there would be peace all over the world.

Many years ago in the late 1950’s I was very young and my Uncle Uncle John would take me with him to go to the store and to see his girlfriend. We drove in his Volvo and he would sing along with the radio real loud. I would play in the grass or driveway or in the car for what seemed to be hours while they were laughing, giggling and kissing. On the way home he would start singing again real loud.  This is before he went in the Army, and the he married the girlfriend -my Aunt Pat. When we got back home we had big cups of tea. Uncle John and I kept in touch over the years with visits and phone calls.

Have great memories of staying with him and his wife Pat at their condo in New Smyrna Beach. He was a gracious host. 

Watching Uncle John make shotgun shells in the basement, playing pool downstairs in what seemed to be a huge basement! 
All the visits to the house as we were kids , the family reunions in the back yard.
The strong family values that will always be in my memory and will last forever! 
God bless you Uncle John you will be missed by so many. RIP now and say hi to my mom .

So very sorry for your loss.  John was a very kind and fun loving man.  I’m remembering all those great family gatherings at your home so many years ago now.  
One of the things that really sticks in my memory is that beer keg in the fridge with the tap on the door. Being so young at the time I really thought that was the coolest thing I’d ever seen.

Second father to me; thank God he was in my life. He thought me how to hunt, ice boat, construction. A living example of the qualities of a real man.
