NANCY J. BAIRD (nee Foley) age 79 of Bay Village passed away April 12, 2015. Born January 15, 1936, in Youngstown, OH to the late John Emmett and Mildred Foley. Beloved wife of 56 years to Glenn, loving mother of Susan Lyden (Michael), Douglas and Barbara. Cherished grandmother to Christopher (Kristin), Nicholas, Cameron, Elyse and Ethan. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, in-laws, dear friends and acquaintances. Nancy was preceded in death by her dear sister Barbara. Nancy was a warm, kind-hearted soul who enjoyed talking with everyone she encountered. Her heart was full of compassion for all living things, but she was especially fond of cats. She also enjoyed gardening, watercolor and Tai Chi. Services are private; however the family will receive friends and family in celebration of Nancy at the event center adjacent to Parker's Grille and Tavern in Avon Lake on Sunday, April 26 from 3:30 - 7:30 pm.
