Nancy L. Horne Keane

NANCY LOUISE HORNE KEANE, age 76, passed away July 19, 2012. Born July 14, 1936, she was a devoted wife to Kevin, mother of six, grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of two. She was the heart and soul of the family which extended well beyond her immediate family to so many she touched.

Nancy found humor in every situation and accepted every challenge thrown her way with joy in her heart and a positive spirit. Preceding Nancy in death are her husband, Kevin Francis Keane Sr.; her father, Edwin Hampton Horne; mother Mary Irene Haskins Horne; and sister, Marjorie H. Lask. Nancy is survived by her adoring family including brother, Robert E. Horne (Mary); children Kathy Winter (Tom), Colleen Ohl (Jeff), Kevin F. Keane Jr. (Sandy), Patty, Tim (Karen) and Kim; grandchildren Kelley, Bobby and Megan Winter, Philip and Alex Ohl, Nikki Urreta (Taylor), Kevin F. III, Jaxon and Sully Keane, Becca, Riley and Regan Keane, Drake and Tayler Keane Snyder; great-grandchildren Aliyah and Kaylee Winter; and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy's children and grandchildren have promised to carry on her legacy of joy, humor, passion and devotion to family. By being released from the bonds of this earth, Nancy will live on forever in the hearts, minds, bodies and actions of her loving family. Family will receive friends MONDAY, JULY 23 FROM 5-8 P.M. AT THE CATAVOLOS-BERRY FUNERAL HOME, 23040 CENTER RIDGE RD., WESTLAKE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Nancy's honor Tuesday, July 24, 10:00 a.m. at The Church of St. Luke the Evangelist, 1212 Bunts Rd., Lakewood. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Nancy's name to Cleveland Clinic Hospice at Home, 6801 Brecksville Rd., Suite 10, Independence, OH 44131.
