He was born in Cleveland, the son of the late Vernon and Helen Kerver. Norm was the loving brother of John Kerver (Jane) and Helen Norton (William); dear uncle of Ryan Kerver (Kari), Kyle Kerver (Christine), Kathleen Norton and William Norton and great uncle of Cheyanne, Jack and Jensen Kerver; adored nephew, cousin and friend of many.
He had a million friends—many of them lifelong, dating all the way back to elementary school. Anyone who met him couldn't help but love him. He was the kind of person you could always count on: reliable to a fault, always the first to show up when someone needed a hand.
Charming and engaging, he had a presence that lit up every room and every gathering. He had a passion for life’s best moments. He loved the roar of college football Saturdays, the thrill of Rockin' on the River concerts, and the freedom of the open road on his Harley—with a cold Miller High Life never far away. He was especially looking forward to spending more time boating on Lake Erie, surrounded by the people and places he loved most.
He will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, his magnetic charm, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4PM-8PM with a funeral service at 7PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145.
