Richard "Dick" Carlton Bodmann

Born December 27th in Elyria, Ohio, Dick attended Elyria High School and later Kent State University where he met his wife, Margaret (Peggy). They married shortly after graduation and celebrated 60 years of marriage recently on August 27th.

Dick was an US Army veteran, avid woodworker, frame maker, and constant tinkerer in his shop or on his computer. Throughout his life, he cherished time spent with family and friends as well as bestowing upon them his various creations. He also enjoyed billiards and learning about history.

Dick is survived by his wife, Peggy [Kemp]; sons Richard (Stephanie), Douglas (Malissa), and Michael; grandchildren Lillian and Eleanor; and step-grandchildren Sara and Molly.

Dick was a man who neither sought nor relished attention from others, so no services will be held. In memory of his life, the family asks that donations be made to Affinity Hospice in Monroe Falls, Ohio.
