Robert Warren Curry

He was born in Peoria, Illinois, the son of the late Robert and Eva Curry. Bob was the devoted and loving husband—and best friend—of 54 years to Jo-Anne “Jody” Arbeznik Curry. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion to family. He was a proud and loving father to Katherine (Steve) Conway, Michael (Jessica) Curry, Colleen (Matt) Bennett, and John-Ryan (Katie) Curry, and a cherished Papa to Lauren Conway, Madeline and Molly Bennett, and Ryan Curry, who brought him endless joy.

He was a dear brother to Barbara Curry and Walter Curry; a beloved brother-in-law to Leo (Judy) Arbeznik, Gary (Maureen) Arbeznik, Thomas (Caroline) Arbeznik, and John (Gayle) Arbeznik; and a treasured uncle, mentor, and friend to many who were fortunate to know him.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. He was a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and earned his MBA from John Carroll University in University Heights. He dedicated his professional life to the banking industry and retired after having a long and respected career.

Bob loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or golfing. He enjoyed a good party, great conversation, and time spent with friends—but nothing meant more to him than being with his family. Kind, loyal, and gentle, Bob had a wonderfully dry sense of humor and a steady presence that made everyone feel at ease. His love for his family was unwavering, and he gave it freely and completely.

Bob will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30AM at St. Raphael Church, 525 Dover Center Road, Bay Village, Ohio 44140.

Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to St. Augustine Manor, 7801 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44102.
