Scott A. Joseph, husband, brother, dear friend, uncle, business partner, colleague and civil servant passed away Friday, September 28 at the age of 60. Scott leaves behind his wife Denise (nee Sisco); his brothers; Larry (Susie) and Mark (Nora), his mother-in-law; Eleanor Ricci; brother-in-law David (Bonnie) Sisco Jr.; and many treasured friends whom he considered family.
A proud Cleveland native, Joseph was a graduate of Cleveland State University and Shaker Heights High School and resided in Westlake, OH with his loving wife of 32 years, Denise (nee: Sisco). He was a lover of life with a generous spirit and enjoyed giving his time and resources to those people and causes that were closest to his heart.
Scott was a dedicated American working to honor and support those who defended our country, logging countless hours of volunteer time supporting fallen heroes and their families. He proudly spearheaded efforts to help raise money to build the Navy UDT-Seal Memorial at the Navy UDT-Seal Museum in Fort Pierce, FL.
Scott was a co-founder of JMS Elite, a business development and telemarketing firm that helps support some of the largest companies in the U.S.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Scott at a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, October 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Catavolos-Berry Funeral Home at 23040 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Scott's memory to the Navy Seal Foundation 1619 D St. Bldg. 5326, Virginia Beach, VA 23459.
