I've been keeping this browser tab open for months because I don't want to say goodbye. We knew each other best online, and I still can't quite believe you won't be popping up wittily in one electronic venue or another. I will always remember you.

Devastating news. I find it hard to believe. She was my friend.

It is difficult to know what to say when you hear of the loss of a young and cherished mother.  When the loss is that of someone you knew and grew up with, it is even more incomprehensible. While I have not been in contact with Andrea since our graduation, the memories of her fill my mind as though seventh grade were just yesterday. I still have and cherish to this day, one of Andrea's amazing pieces of art, a portrait that she did of me when we were about 13.  Her talent was unmatched, as I am sure her place in her family's heart will forever be. May all of you, her family and friends, find comfort in one another and in the knowledge that she is watching over you with love until the day that you will once again be reunited. I am so sorry for your enormous loss.

Andrea... quiet, kind, artistic, funny, fierce, totally authentic, 100% of the time.  I'm lucky to have shared many high school memories with her, and my deepest sympathies to the family members and friends mourning her loss.

Andrea was a true ARTIST - an artist to the core... I was lucky to get to watch her draw in art classes @ La Reina.  It was only recently that I got to know her as an adult, as Teresa's Mom... My heart and prayers go out to Teresa & her family , God Bless..

I was honoured to know Andrea online; we shared a few phone chats and many e-mails. Andrea was funny, charming, and best of all, real. I always hoped that somehow, somewhere, we'd be able to meet face-to-face. My prayers and thoughts are with her precious Teresa and everyone who's mourning the loss of a fabulous woman.

My heartfelt condolences to Andrea's family. I have so many warm memories of her generosity of spirit and joy in music.  She always had time to listen to a friend.

I remember Andrea as the girl who was friendly to all....and she was quietly cool too.   I am sad for her family and will be praying and thinking good thoughts for them.    Kirsten.

I attended La Reina with Andrea as well and fondly remember her as soulful and smart, witty and uber-talented.  I think we all recognized that she was truly special.  Andrea was genuine.  She had passionate pursuits, compelling interests and sophisticated hobbies -- when many of us had not yet embraced our full selves.

Andrea was the first ‘creative' I ever met and observed and I loved watching her draw.  In those fleeting moments, it was a real privilege to tiptoe through her imagination.  

I only wish that such an insightful ‘old soul' had been permitted to 'grow old'.  I am deeply saddened by Andrea's untimely passing and send my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Augustine and Walsh families. Andrea was a  wonderful, sensitive, kind soul and I am grateful to have known her during our years together at La Reina. She will live forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Andrea had the most generous, open and loving heart.  She was a bright light and she will be greatly, greatly missed.  My thoughts are with her beloved daughter.

My prayers are with Linda and her family like Kristi I will always have happy thoughts about the kids when they were small. St. Patrick's and the kids hold a special place in my heart.

Andrea- You deserved so much better than this. I'm so sorry.

Andrea was a fascinating friend to have. I was lucky to know her in high school when I was still figuring out who I wanted to be. She influenced me with her passion for art, music, movies, fashion, boys and life. I loved her independent spirit and her always original point-of-view. Her humor made everything better. She was smart but never used her cutting wit against you. She was kind. She had heart. She was a good, loyal friend- a rare thing to find. I will miss her so.

Prayers and sympathy to Andrea's family--especially to her precious daughter. I taught Andrea at La Reina High School and remember her well. She was  talented and creative--and very much her own person. She was greatly loved by her classmates.  Please know that the entire La Reina community holds her family in its hearts and in its prayers.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Andrea's untimely death. My warmest condolences to her loved ones. That was so beautiful Kristi. I too shared those same memories since kindergarten to graduation at La Reina. So many years of friendship. This is such a tragedy & Andrea you will truly be missed. Our prayers go out to your family especially Teresa. God be with you. Were all here for them. Be at peace my old friend.

I am deeply saddened by this tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I will always have a special place in my heart for the kindness Andrea showed me and so many others. Her generous work rescuing Afghan Hounds enriched and benefited my life in so many ways.

DEAREST FAMILY,  THE TRAGIC NEWS OF ANDREA'S UNTIMELY DEATH HAS BROUGHT ME GREAT SORROW.  I HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL AND FOND MEMORIES OF HER.
