I remember being in Barcelona with Azar, after Anoush had asked her to bring him back a Real Madrid jersey. It felt almost impossible—finding something like that in a city so devoted to its rival. But somehow, as we wandered through the streets, we suddenly found ourselves standing right in front of the official Real Madrid store, as if the moment had been quietly arranged just for him.

Azar went inside and picked out a jersey and souvenirs for Anoush, smiling the whole time. When we stepped back out, carrying that unmistakable shopping bag, I joked that she should walk a little farther away from me so no one would “attack” us for it. We laughed so much in that moment—one of those simple, joyful memories that stays with you.

Looking back now, I realize I would have bought that entire store for Anoush if I could. I would have carried those bags through every street in Barcelona without a second thought… if only it meant I could bring him back.

I just wish we had more time to make memories with you, Anoush.

He is missed more than words can ever hold, but memories like these—full of laughter, love, and the little things he cared about—keep him close to us, always.

I hope he knew what a special and kind person he was, and how deeply he was loved by his parents, Azar and Gerhard, and by his brothers, Dariush and Kourosh.

Rest in peace, Anoush, wherever you are. 🤍

I remember Anoush vividly.  While some faces dim over the years, not Anoush,  not your lovely family.  Anoush, and Kourash, stood out as friendly, nice, bright, respectful, talented boys.  I had no doubt they would grow to be exceptional young men.  Kourash, Mom, Dad, I cannot imagine your pain.  My heart goes out to you.  Anoush will be remembered.

Babsi shared the sad news with me and I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. There are no words that can truly capture the weight of losing a child, and my heart aches for you and your family. I can only imagine how overwhelming and painful this must be, and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts.

I love you so much anoush, i can’t wait to see you again. I this pain is so unbearable and the days feel so long and deeply lonely without you. It just feels like you haven’t texted me in a while, like you’re busy, or just hanging with dad, or just sleeping like usual. I miss you my pretty! I’m so excited I’m so sad but so excited.
