Athena Tiongson, 55, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 25, 2014. Though she was a young mother, she knew the value of hard work and dedicated much of her life ensuring she would be able to provide for her family.
Athena was a successful Realtor focused on the San Fernando Valley area, most recently working out of Pinnacle Estate Properties, Inc in Encino. She enjoyed dancing Argentine Tango and regularly attended social dances with Ferdinand (husband) and friends.
Upon graduating from University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1980, Athena worked in Human Relations in Makati, Philippines before moving to the United States with her family. She then worked in the Litigation Department at Republic Indemnity, while doing real estate on the side. She eventually dedicated her career to the latter.
Athena is survived by her husband, Ferdinand Reyes, two sons, Brian and Max, and two granddaughters, Brianne and Jillian.
