Austin Ryan Sanders was born on March 19, 1995 in Kingman, Arizona. Jim and Debra adopted him when he was 1 day old. He knew that he was adopted/chosen by his parents. He was a happy baby and child, full of smiles and jokes. He loved sports and was a natural athlete. He was great at basketball and baseball. He also loved golf and was a good surfer and skim boarder. His biggest love was basketball, however. He was a BIG LAKER fan and his favorite player was Kobe Bryant. He and his dad shared their love for cars, constantly went to car shows, and read car magazines.
Austin was THE MOST SENSITIVE, CARING SON two parents could ever have. He loved all animals and kids. He always wanted to have kids and talked about being a good father. In school, he always gravitated to the kids who had disabilities or emotional issues and protected them and defended them against others who did not understand them.
Austin was loved by so many who crossed his path and he touched many lives. At the end of his short life, he was happier than he had been for several years, and he and his parents shared beautiful times that they will forever cherish. He will be greatly missed!
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Oaks at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Mortuary on Sunday, June 22 at 11:00 am.
