My dear friend Barbara
For 33 years you have been my friend, manicurist and confident.
We have been through a lot together, watched our families grow and our losses.
You were there all the way for me with my husband, then my granddaughter, but
we also had a lot of laughs along the way.
Rest in peace my dear friend I will miss you.

What can I say about Barbra when I can’t except the fact she’s gone. She was my friend for at least 27 years, my confidant, my biggest supporter and the person I could go to when I needed a helping hand. She was in some ways the sister I never had. People would ask us if we were sisters quite a lot. We definitely bickered like sisters but at the end of the bickering there was always laughter. We loved making each other laugh.  I don’t have many pictures of us through the years because she hated having her picture taken. We would do selfie after selfie and she would hate them all and make me delete them. The picture here is with my son Chris when we were all in Spain together. It’s a good picture, my friend, and I’ll always treasure it.  Barbra was a good and honest friend, a woman who loved her family so much, she was fun and funny and a handful at times. But she was our handful and we loved her and her heart of gold.  You are in my thoughts and my heart every day and I will miss you until we meet again. Rest In Peace my friend.  😘😘

How I looked forward to my nail appts with Barbra every two weeks for over 20 years. She and I would talk about everything and anything from our kids to our husbands to our animals to travel to fashion, movies, TV...there was never a lull in conversation. She & I liked the same things when it came to fashion...i’d often snap off a quick photo to her where ever I was...do u like this? If she did i’d grab one of whatever it was for her too.  Beautiful inside & out, she fought her cancer with every fiber of her being with such grace & dignity...I will miss her forever....much love to sweet angel Barbra❤️

Barbra loved to stay fit, and was one of the first people I connected to as a new instructor at 24 Hour Fitness, back in 2005.  She was always positive, kind, beautiful and just fun to be around!  I enjoyed our Sunday post-pump brunches, X-mas brunch at Karen's, and having you bring Wayne along to classes as well!  My fave memories are when I would call out the back corner of the room as the "chatty group", and they would have no idea.  Meanwhile the rest of the class would be giggling.  Barbra, I know you are running your own pump, combat and Zumba classes in heaven now.  You were an angel on earth and will be missed dearly!  

My mom and Barbara were really good friends. They used to walk around Westlake all the time. They worked together for a number of years. I remember her children had Jay and Heather and husband Wayne. We had many nights of cooking classes and the mom's getting ready to go out for ladies night. Barbara was amazing at her career and so very friendly and personable. Everyone loved Barbara! She will dearly be missed. 

About my  dear friend, Barbara
I have known Barbara for over 35 years.  She was in her late 20's  when I started going to her for a manicures and pedicures.   She loved to shop and  I remember her telling me one time she and Wayne were in Santa Barbara and she had gone into a shop that specialized in bathing suits.  Three hours later, she exited the store without a bathing suit in hand.  I couldn't believe that Wayne waited patiently for her outside as she probably tried on dozens of suits. 
She loved to cook and we shared many recipes between us.  She had a big heart, loved her family and,  commented how thankful she was that her mother-in-law, Rose, paid for a house keeper during her challenging times during the last several months.  Although she had undergone intense  cancer treatments,  she managed to work to the bitter end. She was a tough person and  never complained about how she was feeling. It's difficult to believe she has left us.  However, I will definitely never forget her and she will always remain in my thoughts. 
My condolences to  her family during this difficult time.

My dear friend Barbara. We used to walk around the lake , go to cooking classes together, and worked together. We used to go to model homes to see how they were decorated. Barbara was a very talented homemaker, decorater and nail artist.  She was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her family and I know she will be missed by her family, friends and clients.
