

Bert is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Corina Greynald along with sister Julie Meyers, daughters Elaine (Richard ) Van Fossen, Janice (Gary) Bencar, Raluca Greynald as well as sons John (Holly) Greynald, Michael (Meribeth) Greynald, and Steven (Audrey) Greynald. He also is survived by 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Born Feburary 18th, 1923 to Mabel and Edward Greynald in Sioux City, Iowa; he would have been 90 years old next month.
Bert joined the Navy in 1943 and attended the University of Texas where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. Upon completion of his service in the Navy, he married Ann Francis Rodi and shortly thereafter the couple settled in Los Angeles. Together they raised five children.
Years later, he meet the love of his life Corina. Together they raised their daughter Raluca, and later he enjoyed spending time with his grandson Victor.
Bert was an accomplished Civil and Structural engineer and was an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers as well as a past president of the Building Industry Association in the San Fernando Valley. He founded and operated numerous general contracting and homebuilding companies during his successful career. Most notably, Morrison Homes constructed some 3,000 homes in the Agoura Hills and greater Conejo Valley during the 1980's and 1990's.
He was an avid golfer and loved to spend his free time in the Hawaiian Islands, where he maintained a home.he had built and loved.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His generosity and warmth were unmatched and his passion for life an inspiration to all.
