Betty Blute died peacefully on April 21, 2012: a woman of faith and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She lit up every room she entered with her generous gifts of love and kindness. Betty proudly volunteered for 7 years at Los Robles Medical Center. She loved her job at the front desk. This followed a 40-year career in the entertainment business in Beverly Hills as the Executive Assistant to Armand S. Deutsch.
Betty is survived by her adoring husband, Bill; her children, Brad Oelschlager (Linda) and Lori Thompson (Jim); her grandchildren, Jimmy Thompson (Kristen), Haley Austin (Paul), Matthew Oelschlager (Jacqueline), Kelly Oelschlager and Erin, Kevin & Meghan Telkamp; and great-grandchild, Stella Oelschlager.
Betty’s love for her dear friends throughout her life was her legacy. We will forever honor her grace, faith and purpose.
