Betty Louise Ross died peacefully at her home in Westlake Village on September 15, 2021 at age 100. Betty and her twin sister were born December 27, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Herbert R. and Bertha Yount Utech. At an early age her family relocated to Los Angeles County where Betty spent most of her life. She graduated from John C Fremont High School in 1939 and attended Pepperdine College where she met Kenneth A Ross, Jr., whom she married in 1944. From this union, four children were born.

Betty had an inquisitive mind and was interested in a wide range of subjects. She was an avid reader and loved gardening and the natural world. Betty was a talented seamstress and was an accomplished artist and author.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, her brother Herbert, sister Nedra and infant son Douglas. She is survived by her twin sister Barbara Ruff; her children Kenneth, Mary Jane and Barbara Jean; three grandchildren, Christy, Patrick and Rachel, and seven great-grandchildren, Sara, Christopher, Nicolai, Alexander, Dmitri, Mikhail, and Constantine.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to Alan, Olivia and Normi for their loving care of Betty in her final years.
