Brittany Helene Hampton, 27, born to Tracey Stein & David Hampton on June 12, 1989 in Santa Monica, California, was a happy, free-spirited and extremely talented young woman who -- in the prime of her life -- went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016 in Woodland Hills, California.
Brittany grew up in the Calabasas/Woodland Hills area of California where she attended Hillcrest Christian Middle School after which time she tested out of High School advancing directly to College. She attended Pierce College, Woodland Hills, California, where she received an Associate in Arts Degree in Electronics and where she had been working to complete her Bachelor’s Degree.
Brittany was a 7+ year employee of Blue Microphones where she held the position of Engineering Lab Manager, Product Development. She was an avid motorcycle rider, certified scuba diver and she loved animals. She played basketball for Hillcrest Christian Middle School coached by Pastor Dudley Rutherford of Shepherd of the Hills Church, as well as playing tennis and any other sport that intrigued her.
Her attributes were that she was a kind and loving individual who lived life to its fullest and she truly cherished her family and friends. Growing up in a Christian home, Brittany developed into a woman of great character and integrity.
Brittany was preceded in death by her beloved paternal grandmother Helen Hampton and her maternal grandfather, Pastor Frank E. Wilson.
Brittany leaves to cherish her memory: Parents David Hampton & Tracey Stein, brother, Robert Hampton, sisters Jayla Stein & Elena Hampton, stepbrothers, Andrew, Spenser & Marten Stein, maternal grandmother Philomena “Bunny” Wilson, Aunts, Launi King (Carlos), Fawn Weaver (Keith), Christy Meeks (Tray), Gabrielle Wilson and uncles, Frank Wilson, Jr. and Kenneth Hampton along with a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
There will soon be an official website developed for donations to a charity in Brittany’s memory that is being established by several manufacturers in the Professional Music Products Industry to provide scholarships for other young ladies desiring to pursue careers in the Professional Music Products Industry.
