Carol was born on July 23, 1943, in West Branch, Michigan. She was a spunky, spirited woman with a go-getter attitude and a determination that was all her own. Carol had a zest for life, a strong personality, and a way of making her presence known. She wasn't one to sit back and let life pass her by.
One of the greatest joys of Carol's life was her beloved husband, Harrold MacMurray, the love of her life. They shared 45 years together, building a marriage filled with love, laughter, adventure, and wonderful memories.
Carol and Harrold enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially fishing, camping, and listening to country music. Whether spending time outdoors or relaxing together with their favorite songs playing, they enjoyed sharing life's adventures side by side.
Harrold preceded Carol in death on February 21, 2014. The love they shared remained a special part of her life, and her family finds comfort in believing they are together again.
Carol was also preceded in death by her loving parents, Frances "Buster" Wangler and Emma Cora Wangler; her sister, Dottie; and her brother, Frances Wangler.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, LeaAnn Espat; her sons, William Bohlinger and Robert Bohlinger; her grandson, Nathan Auclair; and her brother, David Wangler.
Carol leaves behind a lifetime of stories, laughter, and memories that her family will treasure. Her spunky personality, determination, and love of life will always be part of how she is remembered.
In her final days, Carol was surrounded by the love and care of her family. She received the last rites of her Catholic faith, bringing peace and comfort as she prepared for her journey home to God.
Although saying goodbye is never easy, her family takes comfort in knowing that Carol is now at peace, free from suffering, and reunited with Harrold and the loved ones who went before her.
Rest peacefully, Mom. May the fishing always be good, the country music always be playing, and may you and Harrold enjoy eternity together.
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
