What a kind, faithful, and joyful man Don was. He was a model to me of how to remain positive and joyful, even in old age.  I always enjoyed being with him, and will miss him very much.

When I see the evil in the world today and the increasing wickedness of the America that he loved, I can't help but think of this verse.

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Donald Emerson Naugle is originally from Pennsylvania.  He moved to California and lived in the west San Fernando Valley.  He had his wife, Jan, had three children:  Debbie, Marti, and John.  I remember him as a very spiritual man who started one of the first charismatic meetings in the San Fernando Valley.  This was long before Church on the Way was established in Van Nuys.  He served as an elder at the Woodland Hills Neighborhood Church, and when his wife, Jan, passed away, the baptismal was dedicated to her memory.  His three children all married and I believe has at least 6 or 7 grandchildren.  Always kind, friendly and positive is how I will remember Donald Emerson Naugle.

I have so many great memories of Grandpa.  I don't even know where I would begin.  He was such a great man.  I am so blessed to be a part of his legacy.  I want to make him proud.  Grandpa, I love you!  And I miss you!

Don faithfully led the evening prayer meetings at WHNC for years. Every prayer he sent up included God's provision and safety for those in the Armed Forces. He is a very Godly man with the best sense of humor I've ever known and couldn't care less about political correctness. Don is my kind of man and inspiration to many.

He was the greatest dad in the world!  We were always a close family & he will be sorely missed.  I know he's with the Lord now & that brings me great comfort!

We are so very sorry to hear of Don's passing. Our sympathy to his family and friends. We loved Don so much and even after our move to Virginia 18+years ago, we never forgot Don. He was a loving, godly man. When we were saved in 1982 and joined Woodland Hills Neighborhood Church, Don was a huge influence on our growth as Christians. He had a great sense of humor and always made us laugh. An amazing man, and we will see him again!!!

I loved Grandpa's honesty, his warm smile, & his prayers. He prayed to God as if speaking to a friend. I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven someday.

I remember Don as a kind, compassionate, and gentle man.  I wish the world were full of people like him.
