

She was born in Hackensack, NJ on December 5, 1929 and lived in Oradell, NJ. After graduating from Dwight Morrow High School in Engelwood, NJ, she went on to attend the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York. She was also employed at the A.C Nielsen Research Corporation in New York.
She married her beloved, Arthur Bahlav, who was originally from New York City and had served in the European Theatre in WWII. Together they raised three children in Deal, New Jersey and were married for 37 years, until Arthur passed in 1989.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Asbury Park for many years. She had many interests, was active in the Deal School PTA, a Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed learning how to play golf. She cherished her children and enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Throughout her life, she was a devoted mother, loving wife and attentive daughter and sister. Her family and children meant everything to her.
After her husband’s passing, she joined Red Bank Radiology, where she enjoyed working for 15 years. In 2005, she retired from Red Bank Radiology, with special memories and fond friendships.
In later years, she moved to Woodland Hills, California, where she was given tender care and attention by both her daughter Wendy and son in law, Allan.
Our hearts are saddened by the passing of this special lady, who will forever be remembered in our heavy hearts.
She is survived by a sister, Laura Dysinger, New York, three children: Susan Alexander (Robert), Princeton, NJ, Wendy Bahlav (Allan Palizi), Woodland Hills, California and son, Bruce (Karen Pitman) Charleston, South Carolina .
A private memorial, on the Jersey Shore, will be scheduled at a later date.
