Dorothy Ann Schwartz

Dorothy Schwartz of Agoura Hills passed away on Sunday, December 28th, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born on April 28th, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois where she grew up before moving to California with her mother, father, and brother Richard.

Dottie worked as a registered nurse for many years across a variety of healthcare settings before proudly transitioning into case management, a role she took immense pride in. At the heart of her work, she was deeply committed to advocating for her patients. Dottie always worked to protect and defend them, ensuring they were fully informed, understood their options, and received the best possible care.

She was a devoted wife and mother, finding joy, laughter, and vitality in her family. Her Catholic faith was a guiding presence, offering her peace and quiet strength during life’s challenges. Dottie loved to travel and read as an avid historian who found immense joy in learning about the past. She had a lifelong curiosity about the world and its stories.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen, her son Christopher, and her parents Ann and Herb. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Jude’s Catholic Church at 32032 Lindero Canyon Rd in Westlake Village, CA, 91361 on Thursday, January 8th at 1pm.

Interment to follow at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park, located at 5600 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA, 91362.
