Edwin Yang Kim (Eddie) of Moorpark, CA passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the age of 74. Born on December 11,1950 in Seoul, South Korea where he grew up with his mother, father, and two younger brothers.
He graduated from University of Hawaii in 1973. Edwin worked as a small business owner, operating Camper Center for roughly 35 years and actively involved in Westlake Korean Community Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lana, and son, Anthony. Eddie is survived by his wife, Sonia; son, Daniel; daughter-in-law, Esther; and daughter, Andria.
The family would like to especially thank the nurses and doctors at DaVita, Los Robles Regional Meidcal Center, and Keck Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed our loved one.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park.
