After not having a grandparent for over 20 years, I was blest to inherit a grandmother again when I married her grandson Mark. I've enjoyed all the stories and will cherish the beautiful quilt she made and gave to myself and Mark as a wedding gift. ?

In memory of Erma, my unrelated relative,
On the funny side, I will never forget her fear of cats or my pet rats!! She was an excellent cook, always had something delicious coming out of the oven. Over the years she has given me several recipes :) The Burt Family enjoyed camping with our family, holiday meals together, spending time at the cabins, picnicking, and always having fun. Mom had her first doll nestled in a cradle Chuck had made for many years in Big Bear. Memories of Erma and the entire Burt family will always be some of the cherished times of my youth. Someday we will see each other, again!

I knew Erma as "Mom". I will always think of her that way. She holds a very special place in my heart. I have so many fond memories of her and I am thankful that she was part of my life. Although she is physically gone, she will always be remembered in our stories.
