Eugene Paul Ogden, Age 77, passed away on June 2, 2013 surrounded by family. He proudly served his country in the US Navy for 20 years and spent many years supporting other veterans in many different ways. In 2012 he was recognized by Congress for his involvement in the annual Ventura County Stand Down. Gene will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Ogden, his sons Martin, Todd & Tim, grandchildren Tyler, Tiffany, Christopher, Alex & Madison, great granddaughter Baily and brother, Nathan. Gene led a virtuous life and embodied everything that was right in this world. He had a special smile that would touch every piece of your heart. He was a role model to many and treated everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. He cared deeply for his family, especially his wife whom he loved with every ounce of his soul. Gene will now be watching over his family from above making sure they stay on the right track. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7 at 2pm at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road , Westlake Village CA 91362.
