December 12, 1958 - November 15, 2014
Faith, daughter of Charles and Ruth Mantooth, passed away in a most untimely way from brain cancer. She was an intense, vibrant and social person, dedicated to helping others in myriad ways. She also had an abiding love for animals which manifested itself in growing her business of dog care in Culver City called Doggie Central. Her love of dogs was a hallmark of her life, and she engaged in the full spectrum of breeding and training Labrador Retrievers; truly earning the label of “The Dog Lady”. Scores of people now love and care for her puppies as members of their own families.
Faith grew up in Woodland Hills, California; attending Lockhurst Elementary School, Hale Junior High School and El Camino High School prior to completing her studies at Santa Monica Community College. She leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Madisen Sage, her parents, a brother Stan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and three nieces; not to mention all of the friendships she made during her life’s sojourn. A second brother, Scott, preceded her in death six years ago.
She was a gift to all who knew her and, although forever missed, will always be in our hearts.
In accord with her wishes, memorial contributions may be made in her name to either the SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
