Felipe Albios of Newbury Park, California passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the age of 92. He was born on March 14, 1932 in Waialua, Hawaii where he grew up in Camp Kawailoa on a sugar cane plantation where his grandparents worked.
In the 1950’s, he served in the Air National Guard and the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Seoul during the Korean War.
He worked as an electrical technician for Hughes Aircraft (later acquired by Boeing) for over 30 years. He graduated from an electronics trade school in Los Angeles and used the G.I. bill to earn his AA from Moorpark College.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet; children: Blaine (m. Jan), Glenn, and Renee (m. Tim); grandchildren: Ryan (m. Shannon), Dalton, and Averi; and great-grandchildren: Fern, Crosby, and Walter.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne, and granddaughter, Tawnya.
