

In loving memory of Frank Joseph Scerbo, we are heartbroken to announce his passing at the age of 86 on November 5, 2024. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. He was a true friend and inspiration leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Frank walked through life with a gentle strength touching the lives of everyone he encountered. His love and loyalty for family was beyond measure. It will be remembered as one of his greatest qualities.
Frank grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Cliffside Park High School in 1955. Upon graduation he attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken New Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He worked for several Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Companies in New Jersey and California throughout his career; Bendix, Singer Kearfott and Litton Industries.
Frank loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid traveler making many trips throughout the United States and Europe. Some of his favorite countries included Italy, Spain, Germany and France. He was a student of the arts, enjoying museums and art galleries. He loved to paint in many different mediums. He enjoyed cooking for his friends and family. He was famous for his homemade pizza, stuffed clams and perfectly grilled steaks.
Frank is survived by his loving children Frank Scerbo and his wife Donna of South Jordan Utah, Catherine Scerbo of San Diego California, Sharon Talbot and her husband Bill of South Jordan Utah, Paul Scerbo of West Jordan Utah, Brian Accetta of Brooksville Florida, John Skotchdopole and his wife Edie of Santa Fe New Mexico and James Skotchdopole and his husband Dean of Los Angeles California. Frank was a loving and proud grandfather to Jason, Kayla, Nicole, Michael, Ryan, Tatiana, Lucas, Joseph, Julia, Anthony, Riley, Christopher, Evan and Ruby. He was a proud great-grandfather to Adalee, Noah, Henry, Maddelyn, Morgan, Chloe, Makenzie and Holiday. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Nancy of 22 years. He is preceded in death by his first wife Judy of 38 years and his sister Nancy Mazzilli.
The internment is scheduled for January 25th at 10am and the celebration of life will follow from 1-5pm at the family residence, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
