Our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Mar 6, 2017. George was born in Amarillo, TX and lived most of his life in New York and New Jersey. Upon retirement, he moved to Beverly Hills, FL with his wife of 68 years, Blanche, who passed away in 2010. In 2014, he moved to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA to be near his family.
He served honorably in WWII as an Army Communications Technician in New Guinea and the Philippines. After his discharge, he attended N.Y. School of Design and became a Commercial Artist and Photographer. He was Vice President of W.D. Machin in New York City.
During retirement, George’s passion for photography grew. He joined numerous photography clubs and won many awards for his beautiful photos. He is survived by his daughter, Roberta Muklevicz (Joe); grandchildren, Joe (Linda) and Chris Muklevicz (Kelly) and Cynthia Eyre (Matt); and great grandchildren, Katie, Jackie, Megan, Christopher and Kevin. He was a kind and gentle man and was loved by family and friends. He was affectionately called “Hona” by all who loved him. We will miss you, “Hona”.
