Hans Jorg Eberhard passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on August 18, 1937 in Markdorf Germany, where he grew up alongside 12 siblings during World War 2. Hans apprenticed and gained certifications as a professional chef, and served in the German Army in his youth. He worked as a chef and restaurant manager for more than 40 years in Germany, Switzerland, Scotland, Canada and across the USA. He passionately served meals to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission, joyously drove buses for Dial A Ride and financially supported numerous Christian ministries. He and his wife Susan were actively involved in the Hummel Club. Hans was a lifelong outdoorsman, tennis player and bluegrass music fan. Hans was preceded in death by his daughter Renee Annette Eberhard, who died in 2004. He is survived by his wife Susan Jane Eberhard, of Camarillo CA, and daughter Nicole Erica Bell and grandsons Elijah Jorg and Sawyer James Bell of Mercer Island, WA. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, CA on Friday, February 7 at noon.
