

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold "Hal" Frank, a beloved father, devoted grandfather, and visionary leader in the broadcasting industry. Hal was an intelligent, hard-working man who dedicated his life to achieving the best for his family and instilling that drive in everyone around him.
Hal's career in advertising and broadcasting was both long and storied. He began as a dynamic sales representative at WMCA radio in New York City, quickly demonstrating the acumen that would define his professional journey. His success led him to executive leadership roles, including Vice President and General Manager for two of Miami’s top radio stations, with a key stop in Orlando along the way. Hal finally realized his dream of owning a radio station, successfully acquiring and growing AM and FM stations into the top-rated market leaders in Oxnard-Ventura, California. He was highly respected by his peers and the people he managed, always striving to bring out the best in them.
When Hal wasn't working, he was dedicated to his family, ensuring they had exciting adventures and creating a lifetime of fond memories through their many vacations. He truly enriched the lives of everyone he met.
Hal will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.Hal is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie; his father, William; and his sisters, Rosylyn and Harriet.He is survived by his three children, Scott, Marc, and Keri; five grandchildren, Justin, Caitlin, Claire, Cali, and Camryn; and his three nephews, Adam, Eric, and Jeffrey; and two nieces, Lisa and Jill.
