James L. Ziegler passed away peacefully at his home in Westlake Village on August 5th 2012.
He was born on September 27th 1946 to Don & Emmy Ziegler in Cleveland Ohio; shortly thereafter moving to California. Jim grew up loving the Southern California lifestyle and music.
He enjoyed sports such as volleyball, boating, and skiing.
After serving in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, he returned home working as a salesman before establishing a successful insurance company.
Jim raised three children and was surrounded by lifelong friends who were fortunate to experience his deep patriotism, wonderful sense of humor, and all around fun.
He is survived by his mother Emmy, brother Fred, daughter Erin, sons Alec & Jesse, and two grandchildren Riley & Mia.
He will be laid to rest at 10am on Thursday August 9th at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks in Westlake Village. Everyone who would like to attend the service is more than welcome.
