My name is Jane Blackwelder and I am a real estate professional servicing the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. After living on the East Coast and traveling around the world with my husband, Captain Buren "Blackie" Blackwelder, the two of us decided to make Thousand Oaks our home. Once set t led, I realized that something was missing. I truly missed developing new friendships and helping people. So in 1980, I decided to try my hand at real estate hoping that void would be filled. As it turns out, real estate was the best decision I could have ever made.
During the past 37 years, I have helped over 350 families find their perfect home. What all of these transact ions have given me is not only experience but a vast local knowledge of the Conejo Valley. In my practice of Real Estate, I am well known for great customer service, consistent communication, strong attention to detail and ensuring a positive experience for all parties in a transaction. But most importantly, my values are rooted in being sincere and developing trust to make lasting relationships with the people I work with. The best advice I have ever received is from my husband who told me from the very beginning of my career that "if you're going to start this journey - do it right, or don't do it at all." That is the motto I strive for daily.
Every time I sell a house - I make a new friend.
