Dr. Jeffrey D. Aaronson

Dr. Jeffrey D. Aaronson, 83, of Los Angeles, California, passed away on January 11, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. He was born to parents Philip and Freda Aaronson on March 23, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to being a loving husband and father, Jeffrey was an accomplished internist, critical care and pulmonary specialist. On top of his private practice, Jeffrey was an associate professor of pulmonary medicine at the University of Southern California, School of Medicine, as well as the Intensive Care Unit Director at Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Jeffrey spent his life caring for others, inspiring his family to dedicate their lives to the service of others and making a positive impact on their communities. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Dr. Josefina Aaronson, and his three children, daughter and son-in-law as well as grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to the Braille Institute Los Angeles Center and the Scleroderma Foundation of California.
