Jerome Mitchell Skaff

Jerome “Jerry” Mitchell Skaff of Thousand Oaks, CA passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 76. He was born on August 9, 1949, in Inglewood, CA where he then grew up in Hawthorne, CA. Jerry graduated from Hawthorne High School “Go Cougars” in 1967. He was drafted into the the U.S. Army and proudly served from April 1, 1969 – January 30, 1971.

Jerry worked as an electrician for IBEW then became a general contractor and started his own business; JMS Electrical and Design. Eventually joining the Fullerton School District as Director of Construction and Modernization and then Duarte School District as Construction/Project Manager. Finishing up his working years with Pringle Associates as a DSA Project Inspector.

Jerome is preceded in death by his Father Mitchell Skaff and Mother Ann Skaff, Daughter Erin Melissa Skaff and Sister Patricia Skaff Cirincione.

Jerry is survived by his Wife, Vicky Skaff, Daughter Kristen Skaff & Joe and Cameron Ruelas, Daughter Melissa Skaff Calandrino & Husband Curtis Calandrino, Grandson Taylor Skaff & Wife Emily Skaff and Brother Tom Skaff. Along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a true friend and “brother” to everyone. He never met a stranger. He loved to spend time with his family and be together as much as possible. He loved to fish with friends, golf with coworkers and be with family and friends at home in Lake Havasu - “Home is on both sides of the River.”

Family and friends are invited to attend a Viewing and Memorial at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 1 W Avenida De Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 on September 19, 2025. Viewing 11:00am-12:00pm, Memorial 12:00pm. Celebration of Life/reception to follow at Best Western Thousand Oaks Inn 75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks, CA 91360
