Joseph “ Joe” Sobrino Jr. was born February 22, 1933 in Queens, New York. He lived in Newbury Park for the last thirty years of his life. Joe was the second child to Joseph and Helen Sobrino. Joe is preceded by death by his parents Joe Sr. and Helen. Joe served in the Air Force from 1955-1959. Joe married Maria Flores in 1960. The two were married fifty one years. Joe was a Bridge Maintenance worker for the county of Los Angeles, for several years before a bicycle accident left him a quadriplegic for a little more than thirty years. Joe is survived by his loving wife, his younger brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Joe loved reading and admiring nature and following his beloved Yankees. He loved to argue sports with his family and having fun with them on weekends and holiday get togethers. He will be surely missed and always remembered.
