

Keith James Leigh of Thousand Oaks, CA passed away peacefully and surrounded by love in Camarillo, CA on April 23rd, 2025 at the age of 74. He was born on March 13th, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Van Raleigh Leigh and Mertyl Leigh.
An Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, he relocated to California after leaving the Army where he enjoyed a successful career as a real estate appraiser, eventually owning his own appraisal company from 1998 until he retired in 2019. After he retired, he worked part time as a school crossing guard where he found joy in saying hello to all the kids each morning.
Keith was known as a kind man with a winning smile who was everyone’s favorite customer. He was a great father to three children, grandfather to five, and husband to his wife of 43 years.
He loved music of all kinds, time with family and friends, holidays, animals (especially dogs), and gardening. A lifelong sports fan, he enjoyed watching Los Angeles Rams football and Angels baseball games. When he was younger, he stayed active playing in his local softball league and beating his sons at running track until they were eventually old enough to beat him.
Keith will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving, supportive man who was a hard worker, a kind soul, and had a great sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Wayne. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his son, Loren; spouse Anna, stepson Scott; spouse Kristina, stepdaughter Kristi; spouse, James, and his grandchildren Lincoln, Levin, Locke, Alyssa, and Dillon.
Interment will be at Oakwood Memorial Park and Cemetery in Chatsworth, CA.
