Chris and I were so privileged to have befriended Kevin. He was a superior doctor who we loved and trusted with our health. Through the care that Kevin provided for Chris, we became good friends. We will always remember him with love and respect. We hope his family knows that we are only a phone call away from them.

We are heartbroken to hear of Dr. Moore’s passing. He had just done a knee surgery on me and called me on June 4 to see how I was doing. We always talked about surfing and he was keenly interested in my stand up paddle surfing and did his best to keep me patched up. He did multiple surgeries on me including two full shoulder replacements, knee, wrist, etc and his daughter and ours were friends and our son knew his younger daughter as well. Kevin was a very compassionate man and kindly came by my house after one shoulder surgery to deliver medication that would give me relief. He always made time to see me with short notice. I was saddened to get the news via a Kaiser reply email I sent asking him a question about some issues I was having. I had invited him to learn to stand up paddle in our harbor in Ventura and imagined a long friendship between us. I’m absolutely crushed. Our sincere condolences go out to his children and family. For more than 10 years Dr. Moore has treated my shoulder and hand problems to my great relief. He was always caring and very tuned in to everything he could do to help my pain. He always remembered who I was, commented on our living in the same area and the advantages of Kaiser Ventura. I will miss Dr. Moore.

Dr. Moore has been my doctor at Kaiser for several years and has replaced both my knees. I have sent several of my friends to him as well. I have invited him over to use our boat on Westlake a couple of times. He was a wonderful and caring person. I was so sorry to hear he had passed away. Best wishes and condolences to his family. Blessings and peace, Kathleen and John Griffin

To the family of Dr. Moore, I am so glad I can leave a message for you about Dr. Moore. He did surgery on both of my knees and he was always kind and informative. He would answer a message I sent him within a day. He came to our home a few days before he passed away and seemed in perfect health. I had written him that I was afraid taking out 30 staples in my knee would be very painful since my leg was so swollen and asked if the person that did it could spray it with something that would dull the pain. Instead, he dropped by our home at 7:30 at night with all of his equipment and proceeded to take the staples out pain free. How many doctors would be so kind? A very unusual and loving man.
