Leland Stanley Spencer passed away on September 26th, 2016. The funeral service will be held at the LDS church in Westlake Village on October 10th, 2016 at 10AM. Bishop David Child will be officiating. Burial for family and close friends will follow the funeral at Pierce Brothers.
Leland was born in Worland, Wyoming on April 3rd, 1939. He attended Idaho Falls High School, but moved to California in 1956 and graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School and continued on to receive a Law Degree. Lee was the proprietor of the famous Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank, The Warehouse in Marina Del Rey, and formerly Billy Reed's in Palm Springs, and Michael's Restaurant in Los Feliz. Leland enjoyed golf, tennis, traveling, and dining.
Leland is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marti Spencer, his three daughters Laurie, Lisa, and Liz Spencer, three grandchildren Blake, Spencer, and Cody, his four sisters Carmen Spencer, Janet Spencer-King, Alexa Elkington, and Miriam Spencer.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Connie Frank Kidney Transplant Center at UCLA in Westwood. The family wishes to thank all of his family, friends, and community for their love and support. .
