Lillian was always a joy to be with. She was the most stylish person in the room; even when you surprised her at home.  She will be genuinely missed at the Jenkins house.

I have so many memories of Lillian over the years. I met Regina when I was 13 years old, and from that point on, Lillian became a part of my life too. We spent countless Christmases, holidays, and family gatherings together, and some of my favorite memories include being welcomed into their home and treated like family.

I always admired what a strong, loving mother she was. Regina was her whole world, and it was clear that she loved her more than anything. Lillian’s love and devotion to her family were evident in everything she did.

She was also the most amazing baker. Our whole family looked forward to Christmas Eve at our house because she would make every type of cookie imaginable. My favorite was always her seven-layer cookies. My mom loved her shortbread cookies, my husband Pierre always looked forward to anything she baked, and my kids eagerly anticipated any gathering where they knew Lillian’s famous dirt cake would be served. Her baking was one of the many ways she showed her love, and those treats became treasured family traditions that we will always remember.

Lillian was wonderful with my children and loved when I brought them over as babies. She would light up with laughter and a smile whenever she saw them. As they grew older, she remained our cherished Auntie Lilly. She made everyone around her feel special and loved.

We are so lucky to have had 93 years with such a strong, caring, and remarkable woman. Her love, warmth, kindness, generosity, and sense of family touched so many people. I will always be grateful for the memories we shared and for the role she played in my life and in the lives of my children. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Lillian was like a second mother to me. Regina and I grew up together as children, and our families shared so many wonderful memories over the years—school, church, vacations, and countless moments that I will always cherish.
 
 Lillian lived a long and remarkable life, and even as adults, she remained someone I could turn to for advice, kindness, and encouragement, especially after the loss of my own parents. Her warmth, wisdom, and caring heart meant so much to me, and I will miss her deeply.
 
 Regina, my heart breaks for you. Please know that your mother touched so many lives and was deeply loved. I truly believe she is at peace. I know what a wonderful daughter you have been to her, and how much she meant to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God hold Lillian in His loving embrace and bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead.
