

on Thursday, April 30, 2020, Lucille Virginia "Ginger" Beeman, our beloved mother, wife, sister and friend passed away peacefully, listening to the Beatles, surrounded by her family, at the age of 72 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Ginger was born on May 18, 1947 in Glendale, California to Casimir & Lucille Pierce. She was raised in America's suburb of the San Fernando Valley with her four younger siblings, Pamela, Casey, Bob & Kevin.
Her youth was spent with her best friend, Barbara Allen and her sister Pamela, cruising in her 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang and Barbara's 1957 Chevy, taking them from the San Fernando Valley to the Sunset Strip, to the beaches and beyond.
On January 11, 1969 she married William Beeman. Together they raised their two children Tina and William in the San Fernando Valley, Washington State and ultimately settling in Thousand Oaks, California.
Ginger's career in the banking industry spanned upward of 25 years. She later transitioned to the fitness industry and was employed as an instructor at Curves for 12 years. She cultivated lifelong friendships during the course of her employment.
Ginger had a passion for animals and they served as a constant in her life. She was an avid reader and enjoyed biographies especially. She had a love of antiques, classic cars, the ocean, a keen sense of fashion as well as travelling in her later years with her daughter Tina and best friends Gloria Reaske. She was an avid concert-goer and music aficionado counting the Beatles, the Eagles and the Rolling Stones among her favorite artists.
Ginger was known for her infectious laughter, quick wit and her kind, compassionate spirit. She loved being a mother and the love for her children were unparalleled.
Ginger is Survived by her husband Bill, daughter Tina, son William, sister Pamela Pierce, brother Casey Pierce, daughter - in- law Krista Beeman and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Casimir and Lucille Pierce and two younger siblings, Bob and Kevin Pierce and best friend Barbara Allen.
A graveside burial will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks in Westlake Village, California. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church in Thousand Oaks, California followed by a celebration of life to be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations to be made in Ginger's memory to her favorite and beloved charity, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) www.aspca.org/donate/saveanimals.
