Margaret Elizabeth Hesseltine passed away at Sierra Vista RMC on November 30, 2011. Margaret was
born in Oakland, CA on December 25, 1922 to George and Bertie Ruppert. Margaret was married to the
late Waldo Hesseltine, a pastor and the love of her life, for 59 years. She worked for the Seventh-day
Adventist Church for 35 years. She enjoyed many things in life, but family was her first priority. Margaret
was a kind, generous, and loving woman with a genuine zest for life. Margaret is survived by four
wonderful children; Waldo G. Hesseltine (Lynn Hesseltine), Robert Hesseltine (Karin Hesseltine), Cynthia
Davidson (Dr. Jerry Davidson), and Sylvia Kitto (Dr.Robert Kitto). Also by 9 grandchildren; Sheley Bakke
(Eric Bakke), Dr. Stephen Hesseltine (Dr. Molly Honegger), Tamara Cooper (Craig Cooper), Christina
Hesseltine, Dr. Jeffery Davidson, Dr. Bryan Davidson, Lindsey Kitto, Dr. Ashley Kitto Channer (Ken
Channer), Taylor Kitto and 7 great-grandchildren .
Margaret’s services will be held at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary on Friday, December 9,
2011. A visitation will be held at 11 am-12 pm, a Funeral Service at 1 pm, followed by a Graveside
Service at Valley Oaks Memorial Park.
