She is survived by daughter Josie Redington, son Sergio Szostek, grandchildren Nicole Szostek, Paul Graves and Benjamin Graves, great-grandchildren Sophia & Oliva Graves, William & James Graves, Micha Szostek & Joshua Netter, nephew Gus Garcia and niece Lisa Garcia.
Following a very rare spinal stroke 23 years ago, Elena continues to live a satisfying and fulfilled life with many friends. She enjoyed going on cruises and loved traveling, Turkey and Alaska to name a few. Gourmet cooking was among her favorite pastimes, along with Canasta, knitting, and quilting.
She never lacked for friends and loved getting together with friends from Northrup, where she met her husband; Jafra, where she worked as a regional director; women's groups, where she once served as treasurer; church and former neighbors.
Elena especially loved when her family was around her.
She was lovingly known as Elena, Mom, Titi, Tia, Abuelita, and Grandmother.
She will be greatly missed.
