Marie Elizabeth Harshbarger, age 93, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on November 18, 2014. Marie is survived by her four loving children, Karon, Greg, Mark and John. She is also loved by her daughters-in-law, Ellen, Dottie, and MaryBeth. Marie was blessed to have eight grand children; Michael, Carolee, Mark, Laura, Scott, Kaylin, Mike, and Evan and six great grand children. Marie was a loving mother and devoted her entire life to raising her children. She was an excellent example of motherhood and all of her children are thankful to have been hers. Marie also had a passion for gardening. She loved roses, azaleas, camellias and all types of flowers. In her later years, Marie knitted afghans for her family to keep them warm with her love forever. That they do. Marie will be laid to rest at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park. The family will be having a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marie E. Harshbarger Memorial Account at any Wells Fargo Bank (to construct a serenity garden for a shelter).
