Nancy Rae Adams

Nancy Adams of Simi Valley, CA passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 72. She was born on June 20th 1952 in Tarzana California where she grew up as a family of 7 in the San Fernando Valley. Her family moved from Tarzana to Thousand Oaks before Nancy went into high school. Nancy graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in 1970.

Nancy worked as an Underwriter for Anthem Blue Cross and retired in 2014 after 34 years in the insurance industry. She loved being retired and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family. Nancy loved to attend her youngest grandsons baseball and football games. An avid Dodger fan, she enjoyed watching Dodger games in person and on tv. She loved HGTV, The Food Network, Dancing with the Stars and ALL Hallmark movies. She enjoyed cooking new recipes and trying out new restaurants.

Nancy is preceded in death by their parents Melvin & Ruth Adams and brother Jimmy Adams.

She is survived by her son Jason Dickson, Daughter in law, Renelle, grandsons Jason, Shawn, Cooper and Kanan Dickson, brothers Melvin Jr. and Larry Adams, many nieces and nephews and life long friends.

The holiday season was Nancy’s favorite time of year, She loved cooking Thanksgiving dinner and decorating the house for Christmas. She loved fires in the fireplace with a warm blanket surrounded by family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life graveside service at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks on Thursday, November 7th at 10am. A luncheon reception will be held at Latigo Kid (5617 Kanan Rd. Agoura Hills) immediately following the service.
