Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.piercebrothersvalleyoaks.com for the LaRussa family.
Paul was born in Buffalo, New York in 1962 to his parents Salvatore and Concetta LaRussa.
He was the second youngest out of 7 siblings: Marilyn, John, Sam, Carla, Joe and Christopher.
During April of 1964 the family moved to California.
Paul’s father was a contractor and every few years he would buy a new home and improve it to meet the family’s needs.
Staying in the same area throughout his school years Paul attended Taft High School but graduated from Westlake High School, since his parents relocated to Westlake Village shortly before his graduation.
During his high school years he worked with his older brothers who owned Advanced Built In Systems, a thriving low voltage company in the San Fernando Valley.
Paul eventually went on to be part owner of the company.
Paul met his wife Tove in the beginning of 1983 and they were married on November 9th, 1985 in Denmark which became a place they visited often.
In 1986 they welcomed their daughter, Sophia, and 4 years after that their son, Daniel.
In 2017 they welcomed their grandson, Sawyer, who became his pride and joy.
In 2005 Paul embarked on a new venture which became his life’s work: Premier Cru Wine Cellars. His work became his passion and he became highly respected in the industry and amongst his peers. He was considered an artist and specialist in his field.
Paul was a kind and caring soul who was always ready to reach out and support anyone. People appreciated his support and guidance immensely. He was always a positive force of life and with his great sense of humor he was someone you naturally gravitated to, children as well as adults.
Paul will be dearly missed by his wife, Tove, married for 37 years, daughter Sophia (David), son Daniel, grandson Sawyer, his brothers and sisters: Marilyn, John, Sam, Carla, Joe and Christopher.
