Rita and Earl Cunningham were married on February 2, 1942 and enjoyed over 40 years of marriage.
Together they had three children and six grandchildren. Our entire family is indebted to them for giving us life, wisdom, and faith. And above all, for demonstrating unselfish and genuine love by example that has shaped us all into the people we are today. We love them dearly and will keep them in our hearts forever.
The family also extends profound gratitude to the owners and staff at Thousand Oaks Royale, who cared for Rita with great compassion during the last years of her life. We thank you for treating her with both dignity and respect. Words cannot express our appreciation to each of you for all you have done. We also thank all of Vitas’ caregivers, who provided her final comforts. God bless you all.
